As a Senior Lecturer at Cornell University, where I have taught since 2008, my primary responsibility is directing the Cornell Gamelan Ensemble. Since 2015 I have also directed Big Red Steel, Cornell’s steel band. I also regularly teach two seminar courses, Gamelan in Indonesian History and Cultures, and Music in and of East Asia.
